New Programmes in English at the Hebrew University

The Mandel Post-doctoral Fellowships at Scholion Centre

Scholion – Interdisciplinary Research Center in the Humanities and Jewish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, announces the Mandel Post-doctoral Fellowships in Humanities and Jewish Studies for 2012-2015.

The fellowship is intended for young scholars, from Israel and abroad, who have shown exceptional excellence, depth, and originality, and whose research may enrich academic and cultural discourse.

Candidates who have not yet graduated may apply if they have submitted their dissertations. If chosen, their acceptance will be conditional upon the approval of their PhD by April 1, 2012.

Successful candidates from Israel and abroad will be invited for an interview and will lecture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on January 5, 2012.

New LL.M. Program in Human Rights and International Law

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Law Faculty (HUL) has launched a new LL.M Programme in English, focusing on Human Rights and International Law. The programme offers a rich and advanced course of study such like International Humanitarian Law, The Law of the United Nations, Human Dignity in comparative Perspective and more.

The programme will open in October 2011 and will last for one academic year (two semesters).
