Photographs by Gemma Levine - Introduction

Gemma Levine, portrait photographer, celebrated her 25 years of photography with a retrospective at The National Portrait Gallery in 2001. She is renown for her three books on Henry Moore and from Israel, her work with Moshe Dayan and Golda Meir, in 1976. She has published, in the UK, 18 books on Famous People and has had over 50 exhibitions. She lives in Central London, has two sons and four grandchildren. Details of her work are listed in 'Who's Who' 2006.

Gemma has donated her entire Israel archive to the Jewish National & University Library.  This is a unique 10 year archive of a critical period in the history of the State.

We are proud to have a small selection of limited edition photographic prints of Gemma's work from this archive for sale with all proceeds going to BFHU.
