Julia Markson Administrative Director |
Responsible for
• Administration across the whole organisation
• Relationship management
• Development of donor campaigns
Julia has spent most of her working life, which started at the RNIB, in the family retail business. She has just completed a 3 year stint as warden at West London Synagogue.

Gill Benson |
Responsible for
• Promoting and developing the Legacy Campaign
• Promoting Scholarships to support students in need
Gill is a family law solicitor and has recently spent her time managing a registered care home and working for a charity that provides supported sheltered accommodation for the elderly.

• Developing our sponsorship and e-philanthropy
Before joining Mikki lived in Israel for 7 years working as a CD ROM and internet consultant. She has worked for children's charities and the Commonwealth Jewish Council and Trust.

Tara Sassoon Major Donor Events Manager |
Responsible for
• Overall management of current BFHU events
• Maintaining and building relationships with major donors and ambassadors
• Expanding the event portfolio and creating new committees
Tara has previously worked at Jewish Care for the past four years where she was responsible for the organisation of a wide variety of Committees and events ranging from business breakfasts to balls.

Jo Goldfine Student Manager |
Responsible for
• Promoting opportunities to study at the University
• Maintaining contact with returning graduates
• Developing an alumni network
Before joining BFHU Jo worked in both the commercial world and for Jewish Care and Norwood.

Ayelet Erez Alumni Director |
Responsible for
• Creating and developing the UK alumni department
Before joining BFHU Ayelet worked at the Hebrew University for the past 11 years and is herself an HU alumni, having obtained both her BA and MA at the Hebrew University.

Rona Zinman |
Responsible for
• Producing Alumni marketing material
• Expanding and updating the Alumni database
• Managing the Alumni e-marketing
Rona is a qualified lawyer and worked as the spokesperson for member of the Israeli Knesset, Michael Eitan. She is an HU alumna, having obtained her MA in Political communications at the Hebrew University.

Alison Baker Administrator and Library Campaign Manager |
Responsible for
• Promotion of modernisation of university libraries
• Supporting the Legacy & Scholarship Campaign Director
• Supporting the BFHU Team
Alison has worked as an administrator in a number of commercial situations, and was volunteering before she joined us.

Chris Evans |
Responsible for
• Maintaining the day-to-day accounts of the charity
• Supporting the BFHU team in relation to financial matters
Chris has a background of working in accounts in the not-for-profit sector.

Passionate about whatever he does, Ian's accountancy career has been in both commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
