HU maintains strong position in Pitchbook’s 2022 rankings

In the ranking for undergraduate programmes, HU held its spot at number 31 for the second consecutive year, and in the ranking of top 50 graduate programmes for female founders, HU took 29th place.

The 2022 PitchBook study ranked programmes across categories such as top 100 undergraduate programmes, top 100 graduate programmes, top 50 undergrad programmes for female founders, and top 50 graduate programmes for female founders. The 2022 study was released on Monday.

Programmes at HU have generated 412 founders, who have set up 361 companies (including cybersecurity unicorns Wiz and Cybereason) and raised a total of $12.4 billion.

Five Israeli universities were listed in the top half of PitchBook’s 2022 ranking of the 100 undergraduate programmes that produce the most VC-backed entrepreneurs.
