Airovation is Partnering with Kolon Industries, Inc to transform collected carbon dioxide into valuable minerals for use in products such as food, feed, glass and fertiliser industries.
The novel technology, invented by Prof. Yoel Sasson and developed by Dr. Uri Stoin of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has multiple uses, removing harmful gases and bio-pathogens from the air as well as carbon, and is intended for industrial-scale. The three-phase collaboration will see a scale-up of Airovation’s carbon capture technology at Kolon’s manufacturing facility.
