In conversation with Lady Rose and Lord Pannick KC, marking 75 years of the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University
In April, some 50 members of the British Friends Legal Group gathered at Fladgate LLP Law Offices for a captivating evening featuring a conversation between Lady Rose, Justice of the Supreme Court and 2024 Lionel Cohen Lecturer, and Lord Pannick KC, Chair of the BFHU Legal Group. Marking both the Centenary of the Hebrew University and the 75th Anniversary of its Faculty of Law, the discussion delved into the journey of becoming and being a judge, offering unique insights from two of the UK’s most distinguished legal minds. Attendees enjoyed an engaging Q&A session, making for a truly memorable and thought-provoking event.
The evening also provided an opportunity to express our heartfelt good luck and farewell wishes to two beloved co-workers, Gill Benson and Alison Baker, both retiring from BFHU. Their dedication and warmth have left a lasting impact on the organisation and its community. We thank them for their invaluable contributions and wish them all the very best in their retirement.
