On a gorgeous summer evening, friends of the British Friends of the Hebrew University gathered in Carole Berman’s sunlit Hampstead studio for an intimate and informal celebration of art, memory and creativity. The occasion marked the launch of Carole’s artistic memoir, The Holy Fire of Art: Metamorphosis of a Dream, and offered a warm opportunity to hear directly from the artist about her work, her inspirations, and the story behind the book.
Surrounded by her paintings, guests enjoyed a personal and thoughtful gathering that reflected Carole’s creative world so beautifully. The setting felt especially fitting: relaxed, welcoming and full of the quiet energy that comes from being among art in the place where it is made.
It was a pleasure to celebrate Carole’s remarkable achievement, and to share in such a special evening with friends and supporters. We are delighted that all proceeds from signed copies of The Holy Fire of Art will be donated to the British Friends of the Hebrew University.
