In honor of the Hebrew University’s centennial, academic robes were introduced for the first time—worn by PhD recipients, deans, and senior leadership. After years of deliberation, the decision was finally brought to life, and the result was striking—setting a new standard for ceremonies to come.

The photo above captures this year’s Convocation ceremony for the conferment of doctoral degrees, held in the Ezequiel Liwerant–Fomento Mexico Hall.

The hall was packed with family, friends, and faculty—every seat filled, the atmosphere electric.

This short video captures the joyful moment when the graduates tossed their caps into the air, highlighting the pride and excitement that filled the room.

Congratulations!!!
