On a wintery March Monday, 7 Hebrew University alumni, currently studying further degrees in the UK with a British Friends scholarship, came to London to meet trustees and team members of the British Friends – graciously hosted by Trustee Joe Smouha KC.
Haling from the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Kings College, LSE, and Birkbeck, they shared their experiences as Israeli students in English institutions in the current political climate, their plans and hopes for the future.
It was great to hear their stories and perspectives, and welcome them into the flourishing community of HU alumni in the UK, nurtured and managed by Shlomit Divinsky-Livne.
