The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and ICL Group today announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate the journey from breakthrough scientific discoveries to real-world industrial applications. By bringing academia and industry together earlier in the innovation process, the partnership aims to shorten the path from laboratory research to market-ready technologies with the potential for broad societal impact.

Under the agreement, TAMI, ICL’s R&D and innovation center, will serve as Yissum’s development and execution partner for selected technologies, combining academic excellence with industrial development, scale-up capabilities, and commercialization expertise.
For ICL, the collaboration provides early access to breakthrough scientific discoveries and emerging technologies, strengthening its innovation pipeline while creating strategic commercial opportunities.
For Yissum and researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, it creates a direct pathway to industry, accelerating the development of promising technologies into market-ready solutions while unlocking greater commercial value.
