Professor Claudia Goldman-Shenhar

Professor Claudia Goldman-Shenhar, originally from Buenos Aires, built her career in Israel after earning degrees in computer science, mathematics, and electronics at the Hebrew University, where she also developed expertise in artificial intelligence (AI).

Following postdoctoral work at Bar Ilan University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she transitioned to industry, spending three years at Samsung Research and fifteen years at General Motors’ Technical Center in Israel, focusing on user experience and trust in AI systems.

Today, she is an Associate Professor at the Hebrew University, where her research centres on how humans interact with and calibrate trust in AI, aiming to make intelligent technologies more beneficial for society.
