An evening at JW3 with Professor Mona Khoury

The challenge of managing a multicultural society, where there is a need to address everyone's needs, whether they are the majority or the minority, is not simple, particularly in higher education institutions.

Join the Hebrew University's Vice President for Strategy and Diversity, Professor Mona Khoury, who will talk about the University’s proactive measures in fostering a diverse and inclusive campus. She will discuss the issues faced by the Hebrew University in responding to diverse populations and the strategies that help maintain a cohesive campus and promote co-existence during both routine times and times of crisis.

The event will showcase the University's commitment to inclusivity, harmony and tolerance within its diverse student body and present perspectives from its global partners, shedding light on how institutions worldwide are confronting similar challenges in building a shared society, especially against the backdrop of ongoing regional unrest.

Prior to her visit to London, Prof Mona Khoury shared in an interview with Jewish News how the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is navigating the challenges of the Gaza war and how despite the conflict, the University has maintained campus order and promoted collaborative projects to improve relations among students of different backgrounds.

  • In memory of Hebrew University Honourary Fellow Thea Zucker z"l
  • In partnership with the British Friends of Hebrew University
