Who Will You See There?
The Right Honourable Lady Rose of Colmworth DBE started practising as a barrister in London in 1984 specialising in domestic and European Union anti-trust law. After ten years in private practice, she joined the Government Legal Service as an advisory lawyer in central Government. She worked for 5 years in HM Treasury on financial services regulation, then in the Ministry of Defence during the 2003 Iraq war and finally in the Office of Speaker to the House of Commons. She was appointed to a number of part time judicial roles and then in 2013 joined the High Court as a full time Judge in the Business and Property Courts. She was promoted to the Court of Appeal in 2019 and then to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 2021 where she sits today.
Lord Pannick KC is a practicing barrister at Blackstone Chambers, a Crossbench Peer in the House of Lords and a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. He specialises in constitutional and administrative law and in appellate advocacy.
