Despite the heavy rain, the British Friends Legators Honours Club came together at JW3 to meet two impressive HU graduates, and members of the BFHU.
This provided an opportunity to get the latest news from the Hebrew University and importantly, to hear directly from two Israelis about their challenges in the UK, as students and in their personal lives.
BFHU’s Honours Club members are long-time supporters of the Hebrew University here in the UK, who’ve pledged to leave a significant legacy to the University in their will.
We watched HU’s out-going President, Prof Asher Cohen’s moving video summarizing his tumultuous but successful 8 tenure at the helm of HU, and a humorous AI film about his sources of inspiration – Weizmann, Freud, and Einstein, all University founders!
It was an illuminating afternoon for both our Honours Club members and our amazing Hebrew University graduates. We wish them luck in their studies in the year ahead.
