Curious about how much we should trust artificial intelligence? Join us for an eye-opening evening with Prof. Claudia Goldman-Shenhar, Associate Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as she explores how humans interact with and learn to trust intelligent machines.
Discover how AI shapes the way we make decisions, how trust can be built (and lost) between humans and algorithms, and what it really takes to make AI systems work for society rather than against it
Expect an engaging, thought-provoking talk that blends psychology, technology, and ethics — all delivered by one of the leading voices in human–AI interaction.
Whether you’re an AI enthusiast, tech sceptic, or just curious about our digital future, this is a session you won’t want to miss.

This lecture is generously sponsored by Hebrew University alumni, Marc Iarchy in memory of his grandmother, Hebrew University Honorary Fellow Thea Zucker z”l.
The British Friends of the Hebrew University extend their heartfelt thanks for this meaningful partnership.
Who Will You See There?
Professor Claudia Goldman-Shenhar, originally from Buenos Aires, built her career in Israel after earning degrees in computer science, mathematics, and electronics at the Hebrew University, where she also developed expertise in artificial intelligence (AI).
Following postdoctoral work at Bar Ilan University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she transitioned to industry, spending three years at Samsung Research and fifteen years at General Motors’ Technical Center in Israel, focusing on user experience and trust in AI systems.
Today, she is an Associate Professor at the Hebrew University, where her research centres on how humans interact with and calibrate trust in AI, aiming to make intelligent technologies more beneficial for society.
