Prof. Troen’s research focuses on Nutritional Neuroscience, the prevention of cerebrovascular disease and dementia. Prof. Troen was a member of the National Council on Food Security Research Committee, and is currently working in collaboration with Leket Israel to investigate the role of food banks in alleviating food insecurity and its deleterious consequences for human development, health and wellbeing.
